As the Democratic nominee for the District 6 Congressional seat, I thank you for your early support. Our resounding victory in the primary would not have been possible without your generous support, together with the help of so many old and new friends across the District.
Our campaign is gaining momentum because our vision is shared by families all across our District. We are facing a crisis in health care, in our economy, and in our environment, and we want something done about it. As a physician and a mother, I understand these problems and I am uniquely qualified to address them. We need affordable health care for all Americans. We need a clean, safe, healthy environment. And we need good jobs and a healthy economy.
We're facing an uphill race against Howard Coble, Pres. Bush's loyal ally. I believe we can win by publicizing our positive vision and by exposing Coble's can't do voting record.
